About the Role:

As we gear up for our first postpartum retreat launch at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach, we are looking for a Postpartum Massage Therapist to join the Ahma & Co team to provide specialized massage to birthing persons during the postpartum period.

In this role, you will be providing massage therapy for new mothers and birthing persons, focusing on physical recovery and well-being.

This role is ideal for a Massage Therapist with special interest in postpartum care, who is passionate about providing inclusive, evidence-based, and responsive support. Your role will be crucial in creating a comforting and safe environment for our guests, helping to make their postpartum experience as smooth and healing as possible.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certification as a Massage Therapist required
• Specialized training or certification in postpartum care techniques required
• Proven experience working with postpartum clients
• Familiarity with evidence-based postpartum care practices
• Excellent time management skills
• Empathy and sensitivity, with a strong commitment to inclusive, responsive, and family-centered care
• Flexible and able to handle challenging situations with grace and patience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing specialized massage therapy tailored to the needs of postpartum persons, helping to alleviate discomfort, promote healing, and support physical recovery.
• Collaborate with the rest of the care team to develop personalized care plans for each guest, ensuring their unique postpartum recovery needs are met.
• Offer guidance and education to new parents and their partners on relaxation and stress-relief techniques that can be practiced beyond the retreat.

Pay: From $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.5 – 25 per week
