Postdoctoral Scientist 3

Texas Biomed is searching for a motivated Postdoctoral Scientist 3 to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This position will report directly to the Director of Maximum Containment Contract Research.

The Role:
• Conducts scientific research under the direct supervision of a faculty member.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of material for publication or study reports.
• Participates in seminars and scientific meetings appropriate to field of interest.
• Prepares or assists in the preparation of grant and contract applications.
• Function as part of a Team contributing to lab activities as required
• Perform studies at BSL3 and BSL4 biocontainment.
• Participates in quality control activities
• Maintains records of all tests performed and data to ensure data quality and integrity.

Our Ideal Candidate:
• Requires a Doctoral Degree (e.g., Ph.D., M.D., D.D.S., DVM or equivalent) from an accredited college or university. The required major is Biology/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/Veterinary Science or related field.
• Experience with Animal Model Systems
• 3 years’ experience post PhD award.
