This is a 12-month position with potential of 2nd year extension based on availability of funds and performance of the Postdoctoral Fellow.Project DescriptionThe Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering lab at the Department of Biomedical Engineering/ Department of Ocean and Mechanical Engineering at FAU is looking for a postdoc in the area of Nanoparticles/Hydrogels for Cancer Immunotherapy.Our group has been working on nanoparticles and hydrogel for Cancer Immunotherapy. In this project, we are interested in the development of nanoparticles and hydrogel.

We use this hydrogel system to delivery immunotherapeutic antibody for Cancer treatment. More information is available on the Kang Biomaterials lab website: http://faculty.eng.fau.edu/kang/.The Postdoctoral Fellow will:* Work closely with the PI to develop nanoparticles and hydrogel.* Culture cancer cells and macrophage and characterize their behaviors.* Communicate the progress in scientific & project reports, at scientific conferences, and in peer-reviewed journal publications.* Assist training PhD and Master researchers in the group.* Publish papers.Further InformationFurther information concerning the project can be obtained from the lab website: http://faculty.eng.fau.edu/kang/.The College of Engineering and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University seeks scholars who are committed to supporting the learning needs of students from diverse backgrounds and to thoughtfully engaging all communities in higher education.
