Postdoctoral Associate

Job Description

Postdoctoral Associates will help plan and conduct assigned and/or original environmental research projects under the guidance of Prof. Dibs Sarkar in the Environmental Sustainability Laboratory while working collaboratively with other postdocs and students. Primary responsibility will be working on two federally funded projects applying green technologies for remediation of metals- and PFAS-contaminated soils and water. 

Required Education: PhD in environment-related technical, scientific, or engineering discipline with specialization in soil and water remediation. Candidates with a PhD in environmental engineering, environmental geochemistry, or environmental soil chemistry will be preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
