As the Post Coordinator you will be joining an innovative generative AI startup changing the future of filmmaking. The Post Coordinator will report to the Head of Studio - LA, working closely with Science, VFX, Production, and Product teams. The Post Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of complex projects around the production and of localization and foreign language dubbing solutions across feature films, episodic series, and commercial content. The Post Coordinator must be a fast moving expert in project management, time management, and multi-tasking. You will be required to be an expert in managing and navigating our pipeline through Shotgrid, between multiple teams and clients on a global scale. As a Production Coordinator you must be able to field requests from teams outside of the production environment; eg: commercial team, science team, and executive team, and leverage all mediums of communication like slack to gather/distribute information. Critial to this role is having the ability to speak with a high aptitude in both technical and creative understanding of what we have built, and how it impacts our clients. This Coordinator must be able to work effectively and efficiently with our cross-functional teams in both the US and UK locations. This position reports to the Production Manager, and works closely with other key production executives, creatives, and Science Leaders.
Requirements
- Assist with assessing incoming projects to optimize team organization and communication.
- Use Project Management software (ShotGrid/NIM) to ensure status, assignments, dates and timelines are up to date.
- Work closely with the Producer/Production Manager/Creative Supervisors/IO teams to schedule tasks and facilitate delivery of final materials to the client.
- Coordinate meetings, including those in multiple time zones.
- Communicate with technical teams to ensure system requirements are met for the production team.
- Field requests from teams outside of the production environment; eg: commercial team, science team, and executive team.
- Utilize communication tools like Slack to gather and distribute relevant information.
- Take meeting notes and execute action items.
- Create and follow up on technical support tickets as needed.
- Coordinate training schedules for new hires.
- Coordinate and run creative review sessions.
Qualifications
- A desire to work in a dynamic, technology driven production environment is a must.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Knowledge of project management tools like ShotGrid, Jira and NIM is a plus.
- Knowledge of post-production processes, software, and equipment
- Multiple spoken language skills is a plus.
