Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Entry Level Post-Closing and Funding Assistant to join our team. This role will support our post-Closing and Funding operations by assisting with administrative tasks, document verification, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the title industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Document Verification: Review and verify post-closing documents for accuracy and completeness.
2. Funding Support: Assist with funding procedures by confirming receipt of funds and disbursing payments to appropriate parties.
3. Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to facilitate post-closing processes and address any inquiries or discrepancies.
4. Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in post-closing documents and Funding transactions in a timely manner to minimize delays and ensure client satisfaction.
5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to streamline post-closing workflows, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
6. Documentation Management: Organize and maintain physical and electronic files of post-closing documents, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility as needed.
7. Deadline Adherence: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and support the timely completion of transactions within established service level agreements.
Qualifications:
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in business administration, real estate, or related field preferred.
· Experience: Previous experience in a real estate, title, or mortgage-related role is advantageous but not required. We welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
· Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents and performing data entry tasks.
· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and third-party vendors.
· Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain well-organized records in a fast-paced environment.
· Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work culture.
· Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn new processes and software applications as needed.
· Computer Proficiency: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn and navigate proprietary software systems.
