JOB SUMMARY: The Regional Director will be responsible for the productivity and performance of the specified region. This role will include leadership for and management of Territory Sales Managers, Clinical Specialists, and Travelers. Management will include sales performance, clinical and customer service performance and the overall revenue of the region. The Regional Director role is responsible for ensuring quality outcomes, operational effectiveness, clinical excellence, new client attainment, customer retention, compliance with regulations and customer satisfaction. The Regional Director will operate under the direct leadership of the Regional Vice President, Post Acute Business Development and be accountable to carrying out companywide strategy toward achievement of the Company's clinical and operational goals.

  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Establish a Regional Business Plan to achieve goals.

    • Be strategic in identifying opportunities or risks and ensure plans are in place to address each.
    • Meet or exceed the established revenue goals of the region territory, including sales and clinical performance.
    • Build and maintain a High Performing Team by consistently recruiting great talent, develop the talent and ensure a high level of employee engagement and satisfaction.
    • Drive and monitor the tasks and activities of Sales & Clinical field employees.
    • Take action to identify problems in performance early, determine where help is needed and intervene as appropriate to minimize impact on territory outcomes.

    • Identify & proactively seek opportunities for improvement between organization, management, and individual performance.
    • Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.
    • Engage and lead the acquisition of new customers and retainment of current customers.
    • Utilize data to monitor and hold territory accountable to revenue & regulatory goals.
    • Perpetuate a culture of discipline to ensure that employees at all levels of sales and clinical operations have the information needed to function independently and responsibly.

    • Conduct performance review with sales and clinical staff as indicated by policies and procedures.
    • Administer and uphold all the Company's values and policies and procedures.
    • Continuously work towards the Company's goal and vision.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Manage strategic partner relationships which can include suppliers, vendors, and others.
    • Network with potential partners, assess ability to partner to achieve overall business strategy and support the RXH brand.
    • Track and report on new business pipeline against goals and implementation of strategy and plan. Serve as liaison to internal and external customers to problem solve issues between the Customers and the Field Employees within a respective territory.
    • Seek to resolve issues and breakdowns in work performance by fact finding, making effective decisions, and building consensus while building a positive culture.

    • Establish performance goals, provide leadership, guidance, and feedback to ensure that performance of each employee contributes to the goals of the organization.
    • Communicate company policies, procedures, and objectives to build a cohesive and cooperative team that functions as a unit under your management.
    • Understand the impact and implications of decisions and requests affecting other divisions, teams and/or individuals within the company.
    • Maintain motivation and professional standards despite obstacles or difficult circumstances encountered in your role.
    • Ensure team members are compliant and timely with all documentation requests from the corporate office such as but not limited to corrections, ALJ requests, hearing requests, audit requests, DCD requests.

    • Conduct in person visits with Clinical Specialist & Territory Sales Manager as necessary to directly facilitate more effective work approaches, provide feedback and improve performance.
    • Attending quarterly business reviews, tradeshows when business needs require, meetings, and in-services as determined necessary to meet the performance goals of the territory.
    • Maintain open lines of communication to ensure sharing of information, ideas and concerns affecting initiatives which crossover between both Sales & Clinical teams.
    • Ensure Clinical Specialists become certified in Wound Care by an approved accredited organization(s) per company policy.
    • Help employees expand their knowledge and skills by providing timely feedback, guidance and facilitating training opportunities as needed to help them reach clinical operational goals.

    • Review, approve and/or deny monthly expense reports and PTO for employees in accordance with the Company's expense policy and procedures.
    • Maintain a current knowledge of The Company's Policies and Procedures Maintain current knowledge of Wound Care. LTC & regulatory industry by attending continuing education conferences/seminars.

    EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
    • Bachelor's degree

    ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
    • 5 years healthcare sales or management experience.

    • Demonstrated performance in delivering results especially revenue goals.
    • Experience in the Post Acute or Home Care markets. Either on the provider side or providing products or services to that market.
    • Technical Skills - Product knowledge, sales plan design, strategic prospecting skills, rapport building in-person and over phone, objection prevention, demo skills, closing techniques, post-sale relationship management.
    • Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Computer Skills - Exceptional skills in MS Suite with a strong proficiency in Excel including pivot tables.

    • Job Knowledge - Competent in required job skills and knowledge; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current developments; requires minimal supervision; displays understanding of how job relates to others; uses resources effectively.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Ability to travel up to four (4) + hours via car or air travel.
    • Ability to carry work materials for business related meetings and matters.
    • This position requires periods of time in which sitting, standing, use of hand and foot motion, vision, hearing, summarizing, focusing with frequent interruptions along with other physical, sensory, and cognitive sensory functions are required.
