Posit Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Enhancement, support, and administration of multiple EDAV Posit deployments including Workbench, Connect and Package Manager. 
• Coordinate between technical, network, platform, functional, and customer support teams as a Subject Matter Expert on Posit. 
• Follow user best-practice guidance, issue triaging, documentation/upkeep and supporting users with R, Python and Shiny code. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field  
• 4+ years of experience in Posit administration 
• Ability to install, update, and manage complex R, Python, and system dependencies in a Linux environment.  
• Familiarity with creating R and Python packages. 
• Familiarity with multiple IDEs including R Studio, VS Code, and Jupyter Labs/Notebook 
• Ability to meet deadlines and individual performance metrics  

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Azure Container Registry 
• Experience developing with frameworks like Dash, Streamlit, Bokeh, Flask, etc.  
• Familiarity with common data science and exploratory analysis Python and R libraries 

eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager.

Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be 5-15% per year.
