POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for managing assigned accounts and provide sales support to the Relationship Sales Officer (RSO) and Division President (DP).
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Works with RSO/DP on new requests from assigned accounts as it relates to new loan and new deposit opportunities.
- Assists the RSOs with sales and administrative activities including but not limited to Insight activities. Serve as back-up for departed RSOs or those that may be out on vacation.
- Assist the RSOs preparation of opportunities including collecting needed underwriting requirements including applications, disclosures, financial information, operational history, etc., and then working the opportunity with the appropriate value stream members.
- Prepares proposal working with RSOs, or DP on structure, terms and rate on assigned accounts.
- Facilitates the orderly flow of client requests through SFG value stream (Credit, Loan Operations and Accounting departments).
- Prepares documentation requests (i.e., Insight/Salesforce and Ncino Workflow System) to send on to the Credit department.
- Follows-up on funding items including working with various fleet suppliers, insurance agents, etc., to ensure all required documentation is gathered and in proper order to fund a new transaction working closely with Loan Operations, Credit Department, Deposit Services, the Customer and RSOs throughout the process.
- Reviews loan/lease documentation proposal, approval, with RSOs and clients and provides consultation to various inquiries.
- Follows-up on Credit Exceptions, titles, insurance, and supplemental inspection to assist in managing risk.
- Follows-up on Loan Operations exceptions with the client to close-out file.
- Assists with implementation, training, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Reviews and researches requests for management on an as needed basis.
- Assists with sales and marketing campaigns.
- Coordinates with junior sales support position.
- Completes all compliance training related to the position.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Periodically attends industry tradeshows, conventions and customer visits with Division President, RSOs or independently.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Three (3) or more years of relevant business experience preferred.
- Prior documentation, credit, accounting and/or sales experience preferred.
- Good PC skills--proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, T-Value or like structure/pricing software, CRM.
- Able to occasionally work on weekends for special projects and also extended regular hour week hours to support west coast clients and referral sources.
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Outstanding client interaction, sales and service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good phone skill/techniques.
- Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills.
- Able to work under time deadline pressures.
- Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced and cross functional, team environment.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel throughout the US including travel overnight, as needed for customer meetings, tradeshows, conventions, seminars, etc.
