Portfolio Specialist

The Dynasty Investment Solutions team is responsible for the delivery and servicing of the investment platform to the Dynasty network of independent financial advisors. Services include Outsourced CIO, portfolio consulting support, investment product access, technology access, market commentary, capital market transactions, investment committee participation, and more.

The Portfolio Specialist role will be integral to the successful delivery of Dynasty’s investment solutions and services. Individual will work closely with the CIO and all investment team members to provide support across multiple functions, with a specialized focus on OCIO services and Model Portfolio management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support senior team members with investment research, asset allocation, and capital market analytics.
• Contribute to research and portfolio management of Dynasty’s proprietary models and services.
• Stay current with market trends, economic developments, and industry insights to be able to articulate Dynasty’s “House View” on the markets and economy.
• Managing investment related requests from Dynasty Network of Advisors and provide appropriate guidance / solutions.
• Maintain working knowledge of Dynasty’s investment related resource partners to be able to position such solutions when appropriate.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and monitor portfolios to ensure they remain consistent with clients' investment goals and market conditions.
• Become product expert on Y-Charts, FactSet, and Morningstar Direct tools to support portfolio analytics, Advisor requests,
• Coordinate with Transitions on requests with manager research and comparisons, portfolio/allocation reviews to help drive platform utilization.
• Assist in creating and maintaining investment related presentation and collaterals.
• Explain investment results and provide insights into investment decisions, ensuring transparency and accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience with an investment consultant, wealth manager, investment or commercial bank, financial services firm, or asset management company.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Series 7 registration preferred but not mandatory. Achievement of or progress toward MBA, CFA, CIMA®, or CAIA designations a plus, but not required.
• Strong interest in financial markets, investment strategies, capital markets, and portfolio management.
• Experience with financial industry software and analytical tools, such Morningstar Direct, YCharts, FactSet or Bloomberg is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excel and PowerPoint experience required.
• Client focused with a dedication to delivering high quality service.
• Detailed Oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Possess the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and willingness to take initiatives.
• Must be able to partner, collaborate and work in a team environment.
