The Portfolio Manager, Specialty Paint will work with the Product Directors to help develop the product strategy for assigned categories across all sales channels in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Included in Specialty Paints Segment would be concrete coatings, porch and floor, stucco, and masonry.
You will help build a comprehensive approach to the product offering that inspires clear product positioning, alignment of the product assortment for features and cost while identifying opportunities to lead differentiation of the PPG product offering.
You will work a hybrid schedule in the Cranberry Twp, PA office and report to the Director of Product Management.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver product line sales and profit goals.
• Deliver annual business strategy for short-term objectives.
• Increase Product market share.
• Ongoing efforts towards innovation and new product/package delivery.
• Develop new products and manage through stage gate process.
• New Product/Packaging launches.
• New sales tools supporting product categories.
• Develop and execute long-term product roadmap.
• Manage product life cycle with concern and responsibility for resulting obsolescence.
• Product expense cost reduction.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, related technical field, or Marketing. Master's degree desired.
• 7+ years of Product Management or Development, Technical, Marketing experience and/or related experience within sales.
• At least 5-years' experience with P&L or budgeting.
• Product Management experience.
• Experience in the home improvement/paint/coatings/concrete/masonry industry would be beneficial.
