What will I be doing?
The Portfolio Finance Analyst position is an advanced level role which requires a driven (self-starter) and enthusiastic person that can use their quantitative and analytical skills to be able to assist with projects within Portfolio Finance, with the ability to create, analyze, interpret and present financial data across all levels of our organization.
Assist with creating and delivering various high-level analysis, including concept development, document trends and provide explanation and understanding of portfolio performance.
Responsible for evaluation of current reports, data, trends and results to identify and implement improvement initiatives to stream-line existing processes and improve automation through better utilization of systems.
Serve as a liaison between Portfolio Finance and other departments (FP&A, Accounting, Internal and External Audit, Finance Development and others) by ensuring proper prioritization, definition, consistent communication, accurate specifications/documentation, and timely delivery of end products/services.
Assist upper management to create the departmental budget.
Assess conditions, processes, and procedures – identifying control points, control weaknesses, and associated exposures.
Assist Portfolio Finance and Operational Management to carry out any reasonable requests which the analyst is capable of performing.
