WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOROur Agile Program Management (APM) team is looking for a Portfolio Analyst who will be responsible for translating strategic vision into tactical and executable plans; in the most agile manner possible. Our Scrum Masters and Program Managers are laser focused on Class-Defining delivery at the speed of the consumer. The APM team is responsible for developing effective cross-functional teams, valuing transparency and a consumer-centric mindset.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONThe Portfolio Analyst is a critical role that will support the organization in a variety of ways. You will serve the consumer by collaborating with partners in Finance, HR, TA, and Product leaders in ensuring strategic vision is translated into an executable plan. A successful candidate can operate both strategically and tactically, at all levels of the organization.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES- Creating and maintaining data models used throughout the Portfolio Cycle
- Improving legacy financial planning processes to drive towards Agile centric planning
- Management of resource planning data, to provide clarity on available capacity
- Managing and reporting against initiatives that are funded through other Nike Portfolios
- Assisting with bringing clarity to vision to inform the right investment strategy
- Partnering with supporting functions, to help guide through nuanced data strategies
REQUIREMENTS
- Adept at leading a room through difficult conversations, driving to clear action and outcomes
- Comfortable providing direction, guidance and boundaries with VP leadership
- Able to challenge the status-quo and deliver new and unique ways of solving problems
- Ability to drive clear results and influence others towards a business objective regardless of reporting structure
- Formulate and drive actionable recommendations in order to solve complex problems
- Constantly seeking opportunities to bring high value and commitment to team in order to cultivate a culture of inclusion
- Thought partner to multiple functions. Able to evangelize Agile approach, and gain alignment on best practices of Portfolio Management
- Fosters a culture of trust and collaboration. Responsible for setting a positive tone
- You are experienced in guiding scrum and/or kanban teams through estimating, grooming, retrospectives, user story writing, release planning and other ceremonies
- You can take broad visions and concepts and develop structured plans, actions, and measurable metrics and then execute those plans
- Excellent communication skills coupled with superb attention to detail
- Possess a growth mindset
