Job Title: Porter for a Property Management Maintenance exspierence is a PLUS!!
Job Summary:
The Porter maintains the cleanliness of all interior and exterior common areas of the property to keep the property in good condition and ensuring an appealing living condition for staff, visitors and residents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings.
- Remove trash from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis.
- Comply with Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
- Comply with State Residential Landlord and Tenant Acts and all other governmental laws/regulations
- Comply with OSHA safety regulations
- Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments prior to turns.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
- Assist maintenance team with snow removal (if applicable).
- Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems.
- Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager
Qualifications required:
- 1+years related experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bi-lingual Spanish would be a plus
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
Pay Range: $15.00-16.50 DOE
