Port Police Support Services

Request for professional and expert services:

- Oversight of enhanced CAD, RMS, AFR, and mobile communication systems.

- Oversight of 9-1-1 PSAP.

- Complete implementation of mobile data systems for Motor Units.

- Research and offer recommendations on the selection and standardization for specified technology systems.

- Act as liaison between LAPP, ITD, and executives to research, develop, and implement an enhanced wireless network.

- Attend site visits, conferences, and meetings on the behalf of or as a representative of the Chief of Police.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD): 1 year (Required)
• 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP): 1 year (Required)
• mobile data systems for field assets: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• San Pedro, CA 90731: Relocate before starting work (Required)
