Form of workOversee the daily operation of assigned pool section. Work is performed under immediate supervisor with exercise of judgment in accordance with established policies, procedures, and techniques.
This is a seasonal summer position.
- Responsible for checking facilities, equipment, and reporting any issues to the Pool Manager
- Forwards incidents to Pool Manager, reports problems and exercises diligence and prudence in maintaining maximum safety for all patrons and team
- Assists with in-service training programs for seasonal team
- Assists with daily inventory of all emergency equipment, office or cleaning supplies, and concessions needed for daily operation
- Monitors employee daily check-in and check-out
- Ensures seasonal team submits hours worked in ESS and approves the team's timesheets by the established deadlines
Area of Assignment: Lifeguard
- Oversees assigned pool team including assigned daily tasks
- Responsible for facility counts ensuring adherence to pool capacity limits.
Area of Assignment: Cashier
- Oversees cash handling and seasonal cashier team including picking up money in the morning and counting money at the end of the day
- Responsible for facility counts ensuring adherence to gate capacity limits
- Must be 17 years old. Applicants 18 years or older may be assigned to supervise cashiering.
- Two (2) years of related work experience is required.
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.
- Current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
- American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Training
Preferred:
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification
