Job Description
Lighthouse Spas and Pools is hiring for an office assistant/Customer Service Representative. Sales Experience Preferred but will train the right person. Pool and spa product/part knowledge or experience a big plus. Experience with Word/Excel/Google Drive a plus.
Pay is hourly and based on experience, there is also commissions given on large ticket items. This position is part time up to full time. Also interested in finding someone just needing a summer position. Depending on if part time or full time hours vary but are max M-F 9:30-5:30 with a paid/working lunch & some Sundays from 12-5.
Responsibilities include:
-Testing customers' pool and spa water, helping them find and purchase the correct products
-Troubleshooting and diagnosing water chemistry and pool equipment problems. (Experience preferred, but not required.)
-Re-stocking shelves and cleaning the showroom and other areas on a regular basis
-Suggesting applicable and relevant product upsells to help customers walk out the door with everything they need
-Answering phone calls confidently and with a friendly attitude
-Assisting the manager with back office functions and duties when needed
-Acute attention to detail
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
-Must be able to work Sundays (Not all, but most)
