Pool Snack Bar Manager

Located eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the South Hills, St. Clair Country Club is searching for motivated, passionate and reliable Pool Snack Bar Managers for the upcoming season!

Great summer position for candidates with leadership experience in the food & beverage industry that will enjoy working at our beautiful golf course.

Our Team is committed to providing the highest quality Pool experience to its 870 members and their families and guests. The Pool operates seven days per week, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The aquatic center offers a swimming pool, kids pool, snack shop and bar. In addition to a busy pool season, the club has a competitive swim and diving team.

Job Summary

The primary role of the position is to oversee the operations of the Pool Snack Bar, provide exceptional food and beverage services to members and guests in a timely manner, and maintain a clean and organized environment.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pool Snack Bar
• Schedule and supervise Snack Bar staff
• Greet and provide prompt and efficient service with a smile to our members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Going above and beyond to deliver excellent member/guest experience.
• Train new employees on food preparation, customer service standards, POS System and safety procedures.
• Create a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.

• Take food and beverage orders at our Pool Snack Bar and verify member name and account number.
• Enter members' orders through our point-of-sale system (POS).
• Work closely with Pool Management to prepare private parties, holidays, and swim meets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards of the pool dining area and behind the Snack Bar
• Oversee inventory management
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Follow opening and closing procedures as requested by Pool management.
• Reconcile the register, close out receipts at the end of the day, and turn them into the administrative office.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.

Qualified candidate should have:

• Proven experience in food and beverage management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
