Responsibilities: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Greet guests as they enter the pool area.
- Escort guests to seating.
- Keep towels fresh and stocked.
- Take, check in cabana reservations.
- Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department.
- Respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff.
- Maintain all office equipment as needed and coordinates repairs.
- Work closely with the functional department groups as necessary
- Proactively look for guest service opportunities and take ownership of requests.
- Reliably, and professionally handle all transactions, cabana reservations, and guest interactions.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a similar resort setting
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Proficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. Telephone and copier
- Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
