Provides appropriate and efficient evaluations, treatments, and associated occupational therapy services. Participates and supports rehabilitation program development. Position Expectations and Requirements: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Expected to learn computer program related to the type of work in the department, including Patient Care Manager, Physician's portal, PHS, and Star Navigator. Expected to have knowledge in Microsoft Office. Use assessment tools to evaluate need for intervention, an or potential change in intervention plan Demonstrate knowledge of performance areas, components, and contexts that impact daily work, productive activities, and play or leisure activities Demonstrate knowledge of processes to facilitate change, as from one functional level to another. Provide timely and appropriate evaluations and treatments in compliance with department policy and standards of practice. Complete appropriate and required documentation in compliance with department policy. Participate in relevant meetings in a contributory manner and is consistent with the pursuit of quality patient care. Assist in all other department functions on a daily basis and completes these tasks within department deadlines. Participate in and supports departmental program development. Coordinate and mentors student interns. Should have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Expected to communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and coworkers in a professional manner.
Estimated pay range for this position is $49 / hourBachelor's degree from four-year college or university for Occupational Therapy. Current Florida OT License, Basic Life Support (BLS)
