Primary duties consist of Pool Maintenance, pool chemistry and pool equipment repairs (pumps, motors, heaters and other associated equipment). Duties also consist of caretaking and POA pool cleaning and maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience performing Pool Maintenance or pool repairs
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) designation required (can be obtained after hire)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Must possess a high degree of professional integrity and an ability to work effectively and efficiently
- Possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of team members and property owners
- Detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s property and services provided
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized company vehicle at all times

- Attend all scheduled meetings and provide suggestions for improvement
- Must be flexible working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays

Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Perform routine Pool Maintenance and pool repairs
- Handle pool chemicals safely following all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) procedures
- Check and adjust water chemistry with required chemicals
- Check overall operation of pool equipment
- Empty pump pot basket
- Backwash sand filter and check cartridges
- Blow off pool deck
- Clean waterline tile with soap and brush
- Debris cleanup
- Vacuum pool
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas including the company vehicle
- Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality and timing
- Ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members, property owners and vendors
- Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- If applicable, must have the ability to work for extended periods of time in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain and higher than normal noise levels
- Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 100 lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Maintain compliance with Company Resort Professional Image Policy
