Major Job Function
1. Front Desk Attendant: greet guests and scan passes or take payment for daily use.
2. Concession Stand: Work in the concession stand, prepare and serve food, take money, and make appropriate change for guests.
3. Enforce pool rules in a kind and friendly manner.
4. Register visitors for programming such as fitness classes or swim lessons.
5. Help maintain a clean facility by maintaining bathrooms during open hours. Collect any overflowing trash during open hours. Wipe up spills and discard any trash left on the pool deck or in the warming house or reception area.
6. Manage the top of the drop slides by enforcing height rules and instructing each user when appropriate to go down the slide.
Minimum Requirements for Position
Must be 14 years of age or older. Ability to give proper change. Must be comfortable using a computer and learning Point of Sale Software.

CPR and First Aid Certifications

Position involves 4-8-hour shifts up to 40 hours a week. The facility is open May 25, 2024 and closes August 2024- opportunities for Concessions until mid- October. The position requires additional time before the opening of the swim facility for staff training. Under general supervision, ensures all patrons have an excellent experience as a guest at the North Mankato Spring Lake Swim Facility. Specify preferred area of work when completing application. There is also additional opportunities to work concessions at or Rec programs through Mid- October 2024.
