This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Scheduled work hours are 6:30 pm - 6:30 am, 36 hours weekly. Work location is in Quincy, IL.Qualifications:
Graduate of a Polysomnography program required. One year of experience associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility; or 6 months’ experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee with documented proficiency in all required competencies OR be eligible for the RPSGT exam according to AASM guidelines within one year of employment required.

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for a Polysomnographic Technician to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. Responsibilities:The Polysomnographic Technician will work under the direction of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Clinical Director, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results, and collects and transmits biological specimens for analysis.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, able to follow protocols and procedures. Display a strong interest in sleep medicine, and a background in healthcare. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; sound organizational and time management skills. Able to implement appropriate interventions and actions for patients if necessary.
