WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Select, assemble, and check all associated sleep lab equipment for proper function, operation, cleanliness and troubleshooting in accordance with OSHA guidelines/infection control in order to provide a safe customer environment.
• Perform maintenance/troubleshooting of sleep lab equipment.
• Score sleep studies according to standard Rechtschaffen and Kales Sleep Scoring Manual.
• Monitor patients throughout the sleep study and document observations, collect data from various monitors and report information to the Physician.
• CPAP titration and oxygen therapy when applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Preferred and
• High School Diploma/GED Required
• 1 year Respiratory Care or related field (such as EEG) Preferred
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) - . Required and
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Required and
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - . Required or
• Sleep Disorder Specialist (SDS) - . Required or
