Job Description Summary
Efficiently and accurately cut poly materials as established by poly programmer to maximize yield.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
• Knowledge of all Plant Poly parts and storage location to maximize program yields.
• Set up the saw machine, adjusting for each job
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths
• Inspect work visually for defects according to our quality standards
• Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy
• Complete ticket process accurately
• Maintain parts storage and inventory on work order.
• Operate equipment in a safe, accurate and efficient manner.
• Continuous improvement of detailed nests, bun sizes, etc.
• Control quality and waste of material.
• Monitor and improve poly yield.
• Demonstrate teamwork and motivation while working independently.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean work area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties.
• No safety written warnings - safety sensitive position.
• Ability to operate required PIV
• Excellent attendance; 2 points or less.
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to read basic blueprints.
PREFERRED REQURMENTS:
• Bilingual
• Saw Operator
• Basic CAD knowledge
