Political Strategic Insights & Audience Lead

Summary
As Political Strategic Insights& Audience Lead at Entravision, you will be at the forefront of shaping thepolitical content, analysis, and reporting that our organization produces. Youwill be responsible for providing in-depth political insights for sales andnews while ensuring that Entravision remains at the forefront of political newsand commentary.
The Political Strategic Insights& Audience Lead plays a critical role in shaping our media company'spolitical content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and insightfulness. Thisposition demands a deep understanding of political research, strong leadershipskills, understanding of media trends, especially new digital, social media,and a commitment to providing valuable political insights to our audience.
Key Responsibilities
1. ResearchStrategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy to delivertimely and impactful political insights.
2. ContentGuidance: Collaborate closely with content creators to guide the development ofpolitical content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and credibility.
3. DataAnalysis: Utilize data-driven approaches to extract insights and trends frompolitical data sources.
4. PolicyAnalysis: Analyze political policies and their potential impact, providinginsightful commentary and guidance to our audience.
5. Marketand Audience Research: Understand audience interests and preferences related topolitical content, driving strategic decisions and a clear narrative.
6. Collaboration:Collaborate with other teams within the company, including news, marketing, andsales, to ensure political research supports organizational goals.
Competencies
Background on television, radio, and digital audiencemeasurement is preferred. An analytical mind. The successful candidate is adetective of sorts, searching for why/what happened. Ability to work well in avery fast paced environment; work well under constant pressure, with manyimmediate deadlines and priorities that shift constantly. Ability to work wellwith all levels of stakeholders, able to take constructive criticism and learnfrom it, able to find ways to complete tasks quicker while improving accuracy.The highest level of organizational skills, the ability to improve upon thecurrent way of doing things that benefits everyone.
Complete and thorough knowledge of all aspects of MicrosoftPowerPoint and Excel. Microsoft certification in each is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master'sdegree in political science, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Proven experience inpolitical research, analysis, or a related role.
- Strong leadership, teammanagement, and project management skills.
- Excellent written andverbal communication skills.
- Data analysis &research methodologies expertise, including digital & social media.
- Proficiency in politicaldata sources, databases, and tools.
- In-depth knowledge ofpolitical issues, trends, and current events.
- Strong critical thinkingand problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and acommitment to accuracy.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiar with qualitative research platforms like MRI-Simmons and with Claritas-Geoscape mapping.
- Spanish-speaker a plus.
- Familiar with Gmail suite, including email, Google Drive, Spreadsheets and Slides.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a Full Time position. Actual schedule and hours may vary.

Reports directly to EVP, Political and Strategic Sales
