Are you looking for full-time or part-time work with flexible hours, but still want to make an impact in your community? Then you’re in luck! GOCO Consulting has immediate openings for full and part-time canvassers to go door-to-door and speak with voters about the upcoming election!

Areas include but not limited to: Amarillo and surrounding areas

• Position $18/hr.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Weekly pay every Thursday.
• Fuel/ Mileage compensation @ 37 cents a mile while on the clock.
• Excellent communication skills required, because you will be interacting with voters!
• Must be able to follow procedures, track information, and have a professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance.
• Dress code: Professional but still comfortable - Collared shirts (e.g. polo), no torn jeans, and comfortable walking shoes.
• Must have access to own transportation.
• Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions including hot and cold temperatures!! This is an outdoors door-to-door job!
• Canvassing experience is helpful, but not required.
• Paid training.

The interview process starts with a scheduled phone screening after you apply, then depending how that screening goes, an in-person interview is scheduled and we go from there. Please do not hesitate to apply if unsure!

Details about the job itself and what to expect:
An average working week is from Wednesday to Sunday 9:00am to 6:00pm with an hour lunch at 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Monday and Tuesday are generally our 'off days' unless weather will impact the week. Cell phones and all materials needed to do the job are provided as well as paid training. Full-time (40 hours a week) workers are preferred, but we are more than happy to work out a flexible schedule that works around your availability if you need to be part time. We often hire students and parents that require a flexible schedule so please don't hesitate to apply!

A little about GOCO Consulting and what we do. We are a grassroots, full-service political consulting firm based out of California that was founded in 2011. We work nationally on many diverse campaigns from coast to coast helping with public outreach. We strive for excellence with every employee we hire to build the most effective and down to earth team we can!

This position is also a W-2 type job meaning you are an employee ~ if hired ~ and not an independent contractor.

We do NOToffer 1099/ Independent contracting/ or under the table/ cash work.
