Minimum qualifications:
- MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience with legal, policy, and Compliance.
- 10 years of experience with partner programs at an enterprise software or Cloud company.
- Experience with business operational excellence.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with a global cloud computing organization.
- Experience with legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to cloud services, partner programs, and areas such as data privacy, anti-corruption, anti-competition, and international trade.
- Ability to manage multiple high-risk work streams at once in a fast-paced environment.

As a Policy and Compliance Leader, you will shape and govern our rapidly growing Global Ecosystem and Channels. The scope includes a variety of partner programs, incentives, and partner types including promote, service, software, and data providers.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing an exceptional policy framework that promotes ethical partnerships, minimizes risk, and drives program success. You will partner with the Office of Ethics and Business Integrity, Internal Compliance and Assurance, and other teams to develop business policies that protect Google Cloud along with its partners and customers. You should be comfortable managing complexity, influencing stakeholders, and operating in ambiguity.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $202,000-$287,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Leverage business operational expertise, create and implement comprehensive global ecosystem policies covering all aspects of partner interactions and business engagements.
- Identify and assess potential compliance risks within the broad partner ecosystem (e.g., channel partners and ISVs). Develop and implement mitigation strategies, including training, partner audits, and continuous monitoring.
- Drive close stakeholder relationships across legal, business, finance, security, and other key departments to ensure policy alignment, address complex issues, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Develop and consistently communicate channel policy with partners and other stakeholders. Advise other Ecosystem teams on policy creation and implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement of policy development, communication, and enforcement processes. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.
