• Be at least 17 years of age but not yet attained 19 years of age at time of test.

• Copy of high school transcript (or G.E.D/Home School Certification if applicable)
• Copy of your valid State of Illinois Class D driver's license.
• Applicants must also pass the job simulation test to be considered to move forward in the selection process.

• Please note: You will only be contacted to continue in the selection process once you have completed the job simulation test and have submitted an employment application for the Police Cadet position on the Client's website (required documents must also be included).

• Applicants must have attained senior class standing on the date of test, have graduated from an accredited high school, attained a GED (copy of GED certificate required), or a Home School certification through the Regional Superintendent of Schools.
• Must have a minimum high school grade point average of 2.50 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalent.
• Excellent moral character.
• Must be able to pass vision requirement at time of hire.
•  Excellent physical condition, will be required to pass POWER test within the first 6 months of hire.
• Be a United States citizen at time of hire.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Travel Requirements:  

This position will involve no travel.
