Job description

Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a skilled and motivated PM Utility Operatorto join our manufacturing team. As a Utility Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by operating machinery, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to upholding our quality standards. This position is cross-trained on ALL equipment, and is a VITAL member of the Production Team. If you enjoy a challenge, and a fast paced, rewarding career, we are the place for you!!!

Responsibilities:

· Operate various machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following standard operating procedures.

· Monitor production processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance and quality.

· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery, including basic troubleshooting and minor repairs.

· Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials and supplies.

· Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and promptly report any deviations or issues.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing waste and debris.

· Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve operational challenges.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate machinery effectively.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

· Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

· Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when required.
