Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
- Repair, replace, and install plumbing fixtures, plumbing systems, faucets, toilets, water heaters, water lines, gas lines, sinks, showers, bathtubs, sump pumps, expansion tanks, re-circulating pumps, garbage disposals, dishwashers, ice maker lines and water purification systems.
- Trouble-shoots a broad range of residential and/or commercial plumbing problems including those that may be concealed behind walls, in ceilings, attics, crawl spaces and underground
- Accurately prepares written estimates and calculates cost for proposed work
- Utilizes 6’, 12’ and 20’ ladders to access job site roofs and on-site overhead warehouse shelving
- Performs drain-cleaning services for sewer lines, kitchen and laundry lines, toilets, bathtubs/showers, sinks, and storm drains
- Research and order parts for customer jobs; refers customers to outside vendors (i.e., water restoration and septic pumping services) when appropriate
- Routinely keeps track of parts and supplies used on customer jobs and re-stocks inventory on service vehicles
- Meet specific goals geared towards expanding their knowledge in customer service and the plumbing industry
- May be required to work overtime
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the business
Qualifications
Do I have What it Takes?
- 2+ years of experience in the plumbing industry
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to work in a fast paced and results driven environment
Pay Range: 20.00 - 32.00 hourly DOE
***Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and physical upon acceptance of an offer letter
