Plumbing Dig Crew - Laborer

Overview

AJ Perri of Tinton Falls is in search of an excavation team to support Plumbing Operations. We're in need of 2 laborers to assist on dig jobs to prepare for plumbing system replacements. Business is picking up and this team is needed for an immediate impact.

Responsibilities

Operates a shovel to dig for sewer, water and gas line repair according to job requirements. Crew Operator will have backhoe on site to handle the large portion of the excavations.

• Breaks concrete to prepare area for digging.
• Digs for sewer, water and gas line repair and new installation.
• Provides assistance to technician in performing repairs.
• Backfills holes and areas that have been serviced and grades, cleans, seeds and repairs the area.
• Removes old sewer lines for new system installation.
• Checks lines for proper flow prior to leaving work area.
• Obtains customer approvals for work.
• Maintains and fuels vehicle and stocks the service truck with adequate parts.
• Transports materials and tools to the job site and provides proper accounting of tools.
• Completes all required documentation on services and may collects/record fees for delivery to the office.

Qualifications

Requirements;

• Dependable, motivated, and willingness to put in long hours and work weekends are a strong plus!
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening processes
• Valid state drivers license a must
