Plumbing Designer/Cadd Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing Designer to join our team in our Colorado Springs office. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to develop construction documents in a collaborative environment of engineers within Bridgers & Paxton and working with architects and engineers within the Colorado community of design professionals.

In this position, the ideal candidate will have a diploma and/or certification from an accredited drafting technology program or equivalent work experience in CADD modeling within Revit and AutoCAD. Other requirements include:

• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD and other design related software
• Develop and design within a BIM design environment
• Performs basic building system distribution layouts and sizing under general supervision and non-routine layout and sizing under close supervision of the engineer and/or senior designer.
• Receives objectives and technical advice from project engineer/or senior designer.
• Ability to ask questions of the engineer/senior designer when design intent seems unclear or inconsistent.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment to with management and coworkers.
• Ability to complete work within established deadlines.
