PLC Programmer

Ventura Foods, a global manufacturer of salad dressings, sauces, dips and oils, located in Chambersburg is seeking a PLC Programmer for our Chambersburg, PA facility. This role reports into our amazing Engineering team and will give this person the opportunity to DREAM BIG!

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems
- Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems into larger control systems
- Conduct testing and commissioning of PLC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide technical support and guidance to field service technicians and customers
- Create and maintain documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and user manuals
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on existing PLC programs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in PLC technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred or equilvalent experience
- Proven experience as a PLC Programmer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and logic controllers
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram
- Familiarity with hydraulics, CNC machines, and mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,993.00 - $93,436.00 per year
