Player Services - Golf (Seasonal)

Overview of the Seasonal Golf Services Attendant Position:

This is a fun summer job for those that want to join our dynamic team and enjoys being outside. Responsible for providing the highest level of professionalism and customer service to our Members and their Guests with a quality and consistent golf experience, exemplifying a standard of excellence within all duties performed. This is a seasonal job that will end approximately until the end of October with the possibility being hired full-time year around.

Golf Carts and Golf Bags

• Prepare golf clubs prior to members arrival for play or practice.
• Clean golf clubs after use.
• Maintain a presentable bag room by keeping clean and organized.
• Maintain records of guest clubs.
• Prepare golf carts prior to members arrival for play or practice. Staging (parking) and stocking with tees, towels, scorecards, pencils and sand mix.
• Maintain cleanliness of golf carts by washing carts at completion of use.
• Responsible for all golf carts getting charged after use.
• Detail carts (extra shine) on a schedule determined by manager.
• Maintain proper water levels in batteries.
• Clean Range Picker nightly.
• Gas Range Picker weekly.

Range:

• Daily set-up of practice tee and short game areas.
• Maintain supply of practice balls throughout the day.
• Maintain practice bunkers throughout the day.
• Pick up practice balls and wash balls throughout the day.
• Interact with membership and guests in a respectful and courteous way.
• Pick-up broken tees – nightly.

Requirements:

• Must be available early mornings, afternoons, or evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Must have the ability to lift 30 plus pounds, bend, reach, and work with ones hands.
• Must be able to stand on feet for periods of time.
• Must be able to operate a golf cart with training.
• Neat, professional appearance.
• An outgoing personality - must be comfortable approaching, greeting, and conversing with members, guests, and co-workers.
• A positive attitude. “Others” first mentality.
• Basic Golf Knowledge and Etiquette.
• Must be flexible with hours, a changing schedule, holidays, and weekends.
• Must be 18 years old  

Preferred Qualifications but not required:

• Prefer a minimum of 1 years’ experience in Player Services, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Seasonal only

Pay: From $15.00 to $16.00 per hour plus tips
