The Engineering team is a central pillar of our growth strategy, and we are looking for a Platform Support Engineer to help better enable the back-office productivity of our Systems Admin and Deployment Operations teams, and to address emergent needs from inbound customer requests.
You'll work closely with multiple teams - both within engineering as well as outside of engineering - to better enable the provisioning of virtualization hosts through our back-office platform, to improve reliability, enable SysAdmin maintenance with minimal intervention, and to assist in broad-based customer issues as they are reported.

$110,000 - $135,000
This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.

What to expect:
- Working in a team including experts in site reliability, configuration automation, test automation, and database performance and reliability
- Triaging and addressing issues pertinent to automating new deployments of physical architecture across our 32 data centers
- Working with SysAdmins to better automate manual management of our fleet of host servers by exposing new capabilities from within our back-office platform
- Troubleshooting customer-impacting issues as they are reported
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strength in both PHP and Python
- Working knowledge of Puppet for configuration automation
- Working knowledge of QEMU, KVM, and Libvirt for virtualization
- Fundamental knowledge of Linux networking
- Experience working with physical infrastructure
- A can-do attitude and willingness to work cross-functionally
Compensation
