Position Description:
- Design, administer, optimize, and secure Red Hat Enterprise Linux v6.x/7.x/8.x
- Design and implement automated deployment and configuration tools for RHEL PaaS
- Use of Red Hat Satellite in support of deployment, management and auditing of the PaaS infrastructure
- Design and develop an architecture of PaaS infrastructure based on Docker and Kubernetes
- Design and develop an architecture of PaaS infrastructure in a hybrid Cloud environment
- Deploy a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions based on open source software and industry best practices
- Automate Docker application builds using industry standard tools such as Jenkins
- Automate the creation of Platform as a Service (PaaS) infrastructure using industry standard tools such as Ansible
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues within the Platform as a Service infrastructure
Key Required Skills:
- RHEL 6/7/8 installation
- Configuration
- Server patching and upgrading experience
- RHEL Ansible Playbook design, development, and maintenance.
- Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- Extensive REHL problem analysis and troubleshooting experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
- May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
- 7 years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux v6.x/7.x/8.x Operating System
- 7 years of experience Administer/Optimize/Secure Red Hat Enterprise Linux v6.x/7.x/8.x
- 5 years of experience working with Ansible Playbooks and Ansible Tower
- 5 years of experience (architecture) with PaaS infrastructure based on Docker and Kubernetes
- 5 years of experience managing image repositories in support of Docker Containers
- 3 years of experience with OpenShift Container Platform
- Expertise in the Linux command-line environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder)
Required Skills:
- Skills and ability to create custom Docker Containers
- Skills and ability to manage image repositories in support of Docker Containers
- Skills and ability to deploy PaaS solutions based on open-source software and industry best practices
- Skills and ability to automate Docker application builds using industry standard tools
- Skills and ability to automate the creation of PaaS infrastructure using industry standard tools such as Ansible Automation and Red Hat CloudForms
- Skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues within a PaaS infrastructure.

- Prior Federal government experience
