Plastics Thermoformer

**Please note: This position requires candidates to have previous thermoforming experience.

Plastics Thermoforming company hiring experienced full time Operator for our Manufacturing plant located in Houston, Tx. The thermoforming operator is responsible for safely operating forming machinery while following safety procedures. Operation includes set-up, maintenance, and production for meeting specifications for quality and efficiency.

• Operate Plastics thermoforming/vac form machinery.
• Load & unload forming machine with appropriate materials.
• Read & interpret work instructions or other related documentation.
• Recognize defective materials for color, blemishes finish & dimensions.
• Maintain work a neat and clean work area.
• Assist in set up and change over procedures.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train new team members.
• Monitor machine for any mechanical problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years in a manufacturing environment minimum.
• PREVIOUS THERMOFORMING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
• Mechanically inclined with basic math and technical skills
• Knowledge of machinery
• Physical ability to compete all job duties.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Adherence to all safety rules.
• Positive attitude and a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
