Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with Plastic Injection Molding experience to manage manufacturing, assembly, and facility support system projects.
Requirements:
BS in Engineering and three years related experience or post high school education such as technical school or college combined with a minimum 10 years experience in project management, maintenance management and programming of computer operated equipment.
Understanding of the fundamentals of Injection Molding machines and the Injection Molding process.
Demonstrated experience in project management or at a minimum, project management certification.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
Ability to develop PLC, HMI and Robotics programs to support complex assembly and material handling operations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD to produce two dimensional and isometric drawings.
Responsibilities:
Manage manufacturing and facility projects. This includes establishing deliverables, distribution of RFQ's, planning, selection of resources, budget constraints, and on time completion.
Design mechanization for integrated and stand alone assembly equipment.
Design pneumatic and electrical circuitry to support such mechanization including component specifications.
Conceive and author PLC, Operator Interface and Robotic programs to control assembly, manufacturing and material handling equipment.
Support maintenance department personnel in the area of training and equipment re-engineering activities.
- Analyze performance problems, find and implement solutions.
- Maintain documentation (files, revisions and edits). To include all drawings and database listings.
- Lead efforts in continuous improvement to reduce set up time, reduce scrap, improve processing overall increase in product yield.
- Preferred Skills:
- IS9000 experience
- Some travel (less than 5%)
Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
