Job Summary
General labor is responsible for safely handling lumber products. Verifies material meets customer requirements and company expectations. As a Plaster / EIFS Applicator, you will play a crucial role in applying plaster to surfaces, ensuring a smooth and durable finish. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying plaster materials, and achieving high-quality results according to project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a strong understanding of plastering / EIFS techniques.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess and prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
  • Repair and patch damaged areas to ensure a uniform substrate for plaster / EIFS application.
  • Accurately measure and mix plaster materials to achieve the desired consistency.
  • Ensure the proper use of additives and coloring agents according to project requirements.
  • Apply plaster manually or using mechanical tools to achieve a smooth and even finish.
  • Employ various plastering / EIFS techniques, such as skim coating, stucco application, and decorative plastering, as needed.
  • Inspect finished surfaces for imperfections and make necessary corrections.
  • Ensure that the final result meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
  • Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or the need for repairs promptly.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks and create a secure working environment.
  • Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plaster / EIFS Applicator or similar role.
- Familiarity with various plastering / EIFS techniques and materials.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret project specifications and follow instructions accurately.
- Capable of performing tasks that may involve prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals, such as painters, contractors, and project managers.
Qualifications
  • Certification or training in plastering / EIFS techniques is a plus.
  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
  • No minimum experience is required, but manufacturing or lumber experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of basic math
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
