Job Description SummaryThis role will provide Plant Leadership to the Unison TDI Dayton facility within the Propulsion and Additive Technologies Portfolio (PAT). In this role, through lean leadership methodologies, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within cross-functional teams, be involved in long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide site leadership to all employees in order to meet defined targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Ensure key new product introductions are resourced and executed successfully
- Ensure continuous business improvement through lean leadership and people development in a matrixed P&L site
- Significant Lean manufacturing and cultural development experience
- Provide people development and performance feedback to Staff Leaders to appropriately support successful plant function
- Work with customers, functional leaders and internal staff to meet organizational requirements
- Establish and maintain the plant vision for success and future product and capacity needs
- Facilitate the leadership team in strategic decision-making and problem-solving
- Establish and maintain positive corporate citizenship through community organizations and media
- Work with local legislative bodies to promote decisions with positive impact on the business
- Ensure organizational structure and talent meets the needs of the growth trajectory of site in products, processes, and volume
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations or Plant Management with leadership for both hourly and salaried reports within organization
