Responsible for the delivery, implementation and oversight of all Finance and Accounting (F&C) functions for the organization. The position ensures that the F&C activities remain in compliance audit and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Champion an environment of safety, quality and high performance by aligning F&C policies/practices that support strategic business unit objectives.
- Develop and implement standards, procedures, and guidelines for the operation and maintenance of the company accounting systems.
- Responsible for properly filing and remitting all required filings/documents: (i.e. appropriate tax filings, abatements, 941, and other required federal, state, and local documents.)
- Proactively analyze various process and make recommendations for cost reduction.
- Work with Sales/Customer teams for setting appropriate term limits for new customers.
- Manage monthly and yearly closing process within an appropriate time frame; Effectively manage cash and provide weekly forecast.
- Serve as an SAP – Super User/Subject Matter Expert.
- Work with management and international finance team for securing finance and appropriate credit limits.
- Maintain and ensure appropriate segregation of duties within department.
- Work with management team on annual budget process.
- Manage inventory process, and waste/scrap analysis.
- Process payables in a timely manner.
- Other duties assigned to ensure operations run efficient

- Accounts receivable collection rate
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This position requires a B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting or closely related field
- A minimum of three (3) years profession experience in account/finance supporting an automotive manufacturing facility that utilizes SAP
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Extensive experience in finance, accounting, and SAP; Ability to effectively work with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Excellent attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule are essential for this position.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

- Weekly Overtime: As needed.
- Weekend Work: As needed.
