What this job involves - The Planner Scheduler is responsible for planning work orders to comply with all client procedures and to meet or exceed all contracted performance metrics. This includes coordination with system owners, building owners and maintenance managers for effective and safe execution of work. This role must ensure the highest level of professionalism, while meeting the client’s needs and key performance metrics. The Planner / Scheduler works closely with the Facilities Managers, Chief Engineer, EHS, Data Integrity, Specialty Contractors, Technicians, and clients to ensure that work orders are being processed in an efficient and timely manner to meet all contractual obligations.
What is the day to day?
This position is responsible for the planning of all work orders within JLL’s scope at site. This includes the function of work order administration in client’s CMMS, creating and updating job plans, preventive maintenance load levelling, scheduling, and cost optimization by effective planning of material availability and required resources (parts, services, and labor).
Working closely with maintenance staff and System Owners to improve/revise job plans.
Being proficient in, and performing work as needed to include, but not limited to: preventive maintenance forecasting; corrective maintenance and general maintenance planning and coordination; using job plan libraries; visiting job sites for work order clarification; confirming with work order requestors as required; reviewing and prioritizing work for the team.
Works closely with system owners and client SME’s to maintain CMMS data integrity. Coordinates asset installations, detail changes and updates with system owners, maintenance SME’s, client end users and JLL asset management team to ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with client policies and procedures.
Ensuring quality requirements for maintenance service(s) are met for assets and locations whether provided by Jones Lang LaSalle or its subcontractors. Comply with all Client procedures and practices. Ensure that work order is performed by qualified personnel whose work is subject to inspection by client maintenance or quality assurance staff.
Identifying safety hazards and Critical Control Device requirements as part of the planning process. Assisting in the incorporation of remediation of such hazards to ensure that the building’s staff and occupants work in a safe environment. Work closely with site EHS to incorporate creation of any applicable permits into the planning process of work orders (e.g. LOTO, JHA, etc.) and to ensure that compliance of all regulatory laws and guidelines are met as they relate to the work being planned. Responsible for alerting management of any safety concerns.
Assisting Operations with any request of special projects reporting as required. Maintains Maximo asset label Zebra printers and provides Maximo asset labels as requested.
Performing other duties as assigned, all work processes will be in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and Amgen policies.
Desired experience and technical skills -
Required
A Technical Degree or equivalent working experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, facilities, engineering, construction, or similar environment.
Possess strong organizational skills and a proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
Comprehensive knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
Knowledge of cGXP procedures.
Knowledge of building systems and equipment reliability.
Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings and use maintenance libraries.
Knowledge of Planning & Scheduling methodologies and Reliability Centered Maintenance programs.
Knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Root Cause Analysis (RCM) methodology and investigations.
Preferred
MAC (moves, adds and changes) experience.
Familiarity with Maximo CMMS
Exposure to commercial or industrial facilities operations.
