As a Marcos Pizza Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our delicious pizzas to our valued customers. In addition to delivery duties, you will also assist with taking customer orders while in-store, as well as providing support with various tasks such as washing dishes, folding boxes, and maintaining cleanliness standards. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery Services: Safely and efficiently deliver pizza orders to customers' homes or specified locations within designated delivery areas. (Two year driving history is required for this position)
- Customer Order Taking: Assist with taking customer orders at the counter or over the phone during peak hours, providing accurate information about menu items and promotions.
- Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple responsibilities including delivery driving, order taking, and assisting with kitchen tasks as needed.
- Kitchen Support: Help with dishwashing, folding pizza boxes, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Food Safety: Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines, ensuring the proper handling and storage of food items.
- Cash Handling: Collect payment from customers for delivery orders, process transactions accurately, and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle, including regular inspections and adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and provide support as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from customers in a timely manner.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist with sweeping, mopping, and other cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and inviting environment for customers.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable Vehicle: Own or have access to a reliable vehicle for making deliveries.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to Multi-Task: Capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and delivery.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
