Pittsburgh Field Service Test Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the manufacturing process of cutting-edge Robotic and Industrial Automation projects.

• Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting, while occasionally working in the field on equipment exceeding 500V.

• Conduct inspections of mechanical assemblies and electrical components.

• Utilize oscilloscope for testing products, including hi-pot testing of projects.

• Perform point-to-point ohm checks of electrical circuits using a Fluke meter.

• Adapt changes in drawings and assist in their implementation.

• Confirm materials used in projects and drawings match the Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Document completed projects, uploading them to the server, and scan relevant job information for archiving.

Experience and Requirements:

• While a 2-year degree in Electronics or Electrical oriented degree is preferred, our client will consider practical experience in place of a degree!

• Preferred experience in electrical testing.

• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics.

• Attentive to instructions and capable of accurate execution.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for seamless teamwork.
