Audubon is currently seeking a Pipeline NDE Specialist to join our team in our Off Site Office. The Pipeline NDE Specialist will be responsible for planning and completing unique and highly advanced or difficult robust NDE and Materials Verification inspections for clients, primarily in the midstream pipeline and facility oil and gas industry. In this role, the Specialist will be responsible for; identifying and implementing inspections of unique and difficult NDE scenarios, attaining all client specific endorsements and certifications, attaining all required industry endorsements and certifications, assuring proper equipment is procured and available for applicable projects, assuring the proper reporting documents and software is procured for specific projects, developing processes for NDE technicians to replicate unique and difficult inspections.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures.
  • Travel to clients' locations.
  • Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining NDE equipment on projects
  • Conducting robust inspections on pipelines and midstream facilities in addition to supervisor duties
  • Conducting robust material verification using non-destructive techniques in addition to supervisor duties
  • Direct assessment and correlation of In Line Inspection (ILI) runs on client assets in addition to supervisor duties.
  • Identifies any non-NDE specific requirements for unique inspections such as OQs and reporting.
  • Interpreting inspection results, completing inspection reports, and presenting final deliverables to customers.
  • Ensures quality standards and client specific requirements are achieved.
  • Read and interpret drawings and schematics.
  • Assist other technicians in the field, as necessary.
  • Supports and solicits input and feedback from team members at all levels within the organization.
  • Works safely and completes all company and client safety daily paperwork.
  • Must adhere to company and client policies and procedures in their entirety.
  • Develops techniques and processes to be used by other NDE Technicians for specific NDE applications.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of Pipeline integrity experience required.
  • Certified LVL 2 in all NDE methods Audubon implores.
  • Experienced in Material Verification Inspections.
  • Significant experience in report writing required.
  • Ability to assume the SME role with specific client.
  • Intimate Knowledge of industry codes and standards required and ability to interpret and communicate these to other NDE technicians.
  • Intimate Knowledge of client specific operating procedures and expectations.
  • Customer communication skills required.
  • Able to continually define ways to increase reporting quality and communicate effectively to the Audubon team.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S., without sponsorship.
  • Knowledge of all applicable computer and reporting software.
  • Able to travel 80%.
