Pipefitter

Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our team. (5) years minimum experience in an industrial setting. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. This is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of piping systems
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand tools or power tools
- Weld or solder pipes together using stick welding techniques
- Install and secure pipes in position using brackets, clamps, or hangers
- Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure proper installation and functionality of systems
- Fabricate pipe components as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on piping systems

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role. Minimum (5) year experience in the Industrial field
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and practices
- Familiarity with various types of pipes and fittings
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers
- Experience with stick welding is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
- Ability to rig and lift heavy materials when necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
