Job Description
Our client is currently looking to add an experienced Piping Engineer with strong stress analysis capabilities including experience with CAESAR II.
Qualifications:
Perform Pipe Stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code.
Stress work will include modeling the piping systems to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.
Work closely with piping designers and pipe support engineers to deliver final design.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
CAESAR II analysis experience
Experience with dynamic time history, fatigue and vibration analysis
PE Registration beneficial, but not required
Previous project experience in High-seismic environments
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 4 years experience from companies located in North America
- Extensive experience in Pipe Stress Analysis, Pipe Design Codes, and Specifications
- Knowledge of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 piping codes
- Prior experience using a Pipe Stress analysis program
- TWIC card is a requirement must either possess or be able to acquire TWIC card before first day of employment
