Pipe Layer/Laborer

**Seeking an employee who has previous experience with laying pipe and underground utilities**

· Support the work of other skilled craftspeople such as equipment operators by moving materials, assisting with installation, preparing and cleaning the site, etc.

· Work with his/her hands and with power tools run by gasoline, electricity and/or compressed air.

· Prepare vehicles with necessary equipment and materials for the workday.

· Perform vehicle inspections daily. Report any needed maintenance to crew foreman AND office staff.

· Ensure vehicle and equipment is cleaned and maintained as it is used.

· Perform labor requirements as necessary per each project.

· Maintain that provided tools are in good condition.

· Utilize tools & equipment trained to operate, and request training when needed.

· Occasionally operate machinery such as skid steer or loader with proper training.

· Attend and participate in safety training courses as offered.

· Use, maintain, and inspect safety equipment and personal protective equipment prior to use.

· Maintain overall safety of all person(s) on the job site, and complete safety inspections as requested.

· Follow company policies and procedures.

· Perform job in a professional manner (appearance, language, behavior).

· Turn in daily timecards at the end of each shift.

· All other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

• construction labor: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Mandan, ND: Relocate before starting work (Required)
