General Information
Title: Pipe Insulator
Pay: $20-$25/hour based on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with OT availability
Location: Willoughby, OH
Contract to Hire Opportunity with the company.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Cutting, fitting, and installing insulation around piping, fitting around obstructions, and shaping materials.
- Read blueprints and drawings and follow written instructions.
- Select correct insulation material and accurately cut material to size for proper insulation.
- Assemble pvc or metal jackets around insulation for proper protection.
Skills/Qualifications
- 1 or more years' experience working with pipe insulation.
- Industrial experience preferred, residential or commercial experience may be considered.
- Able to read and interpret written reference material.
- Ability to measure and perform basic math.
- Must be able to work around fiberglass material.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.
